M.Sc./MS in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Botany, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Economics, or Agricultural Extension.
Must have a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent to a second class/division across all academic levels from a recognized university.
An MBA degree will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in agro-based industries, including agro-processing, seed production, or genetically modified (GM) products.
Requirements for age, education, and experience may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates with a proven track record.
Extensive knowledge of sericulture management, including silkworm egg production, silk goods manufacturing, supply chain management, and marketing strategies.
Strong financial acumen and hands-on experience in budgeting, business planning, and operations.
Proven excellence in communication, critical thinking, and decision-making.
Strong ability to mentor, build high-performing teams, and lead with strategic foresight.
Demonstrated leadership in change management, people development, and achieving business objectives.

Lead all functions of the silkworm egg production center and sericulture farms, including mulberry cultivation, silkworm rearing, and cocoon harvesting.
Manage silk reeling, spinning, and weaving centers, ensuring continuous quality improvement to meet industry standards.
Coordinate production activities across the silk value chain to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure a reliable supply of high-quality raw materials such as cocoons and raw silk for uninterrupted production.
Drive team development, focusing on technical expertise, leadership, and communication.
Develop and implement annual budgets, oversee financial reporting, and enforce cost-control strategies to maintain profitability.
Uphold safeguarding policies, creating a safe and respectful workplace, and ensuring protection from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Serve as a resource and advocate for safeguarding best practices.
Report any safeguarding concerns and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
