Join Plan International Bangladesh – Be a Catalyst for Change

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization working to advance children’s rights and promote gender equality, especially for girls. We envision a world where every child, regardless of their background, can realize their full potential. This vision aligns with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, endorsed by 193 world leaders in 2015.

Our new Global Strategy (2022–2027) aims to positively impact 200 million girls worldwide by working through strategic partnerships to help them stand strong and lead change. In Bangladesh, our country strategy reflects this commitment by focusing on empowering children and youth—particularly girls and young women—through their journey to adulthood so they can become active citizens and contribute to the nation’s progress.

By 2030, Plan International Bangladesh envisions children and youth as recognized leaders of change in challenging gender norms and making informed decisions about their lives. Over the next six years, our focus will be on enabling them to break out of limiting gender roles, escape the cycle of poverty, and build resilience against crises including those driven by climate change.
