Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Industrial Relations.
Prior experience in Garments, Textiles, Garment Accessories, or Group of Companies is essential.
Age: Minimum 32 years.
In-depth knowledge of the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015, including relevant government gazettes and updates.
Proven experience in managing industrial relations issues at a corporate level, especially in large-scale apparel or manufacturing organizations.
Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically.
Positive work ethics with a results-driven mindset.
Capable of handling pressure and taking initiative independently.
Proactively identify and resolve employee grievances to ensure a motivated and productive workforce.
Foster harmonious employer-employee relationships to enhance engagement and morale.
Handle potential industrial disputes efficiently to avoid workplace disruptions.
Ensure compliance with disciplinary procedures and maintain consistent documentation across both corporate and factory levels.
Address legal matters, including court cases related to labor issues.
Attend Participation Committee (PC) meetings and ensure timely communication and follow-up with management on action items.
Monitor employee welfare activities and oversee feedback mechanisms like counseling sessions and suggestion boxes.
Manage the final settlement process for departing workers and staff, in line with organizational policies.
Develop and implement standardized labor policies across all units.
Conduct awareness sessions on labor rights, wages, workplace safety, and other critical topics to build an ethically sound and safe work environment.
Act as a liaison with external regulatory bodies such as BGMEA, BKMEA, labor courts, government agencies, and labor organizations.
Oversee group insurance procedures and ensure timely claim settlements for deceased employees.
