Job Responsibilities

Supervise and manage denim washing operations, leading a dedicated washing team.

Develop and execute wash recipes based on fabric types and buyer specifications.

Ensure safe and proper use of chemicals while adhering to all safety protocols.

Plan and monitor daily washing activities to meet production and shipment schedules.

Collaborate with production, merchandising, inventory, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.

Track and manage water and energy consumption to ensure eco-efficient production.

Provide ongoing training in advanced washing techniques and safety practices.

Ensure full compliance with buyer requirements and environmental standards (e.g., GOTS, OEKO-TEX).

Promote and implement sustainable washing methods (e.g., low water and chemical use, ETP compliance).

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree / Honors / Diploma from a reputed national or international university/institute.

Educational qualifications may be relaxed for exceptionally experienced candidates.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in garments manufacturing, specifically in denim washing production.

At least 10 years in a managerial role within the same field.

Proven experience in working with foreign RMG organizations.

Strong technical expertise in denim washing processes and quality control.

Extensive knowledge of international buyer compliance and operational standards.

Additional Requirements

Age: Maximum 55 years

Must be non-smoker (SQUARE strongly discourages smokers from applying)

Well-versed in the expectations of top global brands and strict buyer compliance protocols.
