A reputed garment manufacturing company located in AEPZ, Narayanganj, is looking for a skilled Technician Incharge (Sewing) to lead and optimize production operations. If you have strong experience in the garments or textile sector and possess excellent technical and communication skills, this opportunity is for you.
Diploma or Bachelor/Honors in any discipline, preferably related to textiles or garments.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Must have previous experience in the garments or textile industry.
Applicants should be between 30 to 40 years.
Strong command over the English language (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.
Fluent English communicators will be given priority.

Identify and resolve production issues to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
Ensure garment construction and technical specifications meet buyer requirements.
Guide and train production staff on machinery setup, sewing techniques, and finishing.
Reduce line layout time and set up specialized machines before production starts.
Supervise pre-production samples (PPS) and size set approvals.
Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for complex garments.
Provide hands-on training to low-skilled workers and line supervisors.
Conduct time and motion studies to boost production efficiency.
Review technical packs, CAD files, and samples for upcoming orders.
Collaborate with merchandising and product development teams for pre-production.
Troubleshoot technical issues directly on the production floor.
Perform root cause analysis for delays and recommend process improvements.
Work with pattern makers and sample teams to ensure proper fit.
Verify consumption of sewing threads, lace, and elastics.
Ensure proper method study, time study, and line balancing to meet daily production targets.
Address bottlenecks in production processes and implement simplification strategies.
Support line supervisors during operator absenteeism for smooth workflow.
Assess new operators and evaluate their readiness for production.
Initiate and lead the development of new processes for enhanced productivity.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Record improvement data daily and report to top management.
