Educational Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:

2 to 4 years of practical experience in a similar role within the garments/RMG industry.

Previous hands-on experience managing production in low-SMV garment manufacturing is essential.

Additional Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of low-SMV production systems and sewing line management.

Proficiency in industrial engineering tools and techniques for performance and data analysis.

Strong multitasking ability and capability to handle several production lines efficiently.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Kattali Textile Limited (KTL) is hiring an experienced Industrial Engineer to manage 4–5 sewing production lines specializing in low-SMV garments (5–20 minutes SMV), including ladies’ tops, kidswear, and denim bottoms. The role places strong emphasis on quick changeover (QCO) processes for small-batch orders.

Key duties include:

Designing efficient sewing layouts and ensuring proper line balancing for optimal productivity.

Identifying and resolving production inefficiencies to improve line output.

Planning and executing quick changeovers (QCO) for small-quantity production runs.

Monitoring low-performing lines and operators, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements.

Analyzing operator performance through system data and providing individualized coaching plans.

Coordinating with production and technical teams to enhance worker efficiency and meet performance targets.

Leading continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production operations.

Ensuring consistent production flow and minimizing delays and bottlenecks.
