Senior IT Officer

Position: IT Officer – Network & Cybersecurity

Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) is a distinguished non-profit organization focused on advancing scientific knowledge, conducting impactful research, and promoting science education. Established in 2007 and registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, CHRF is committed to improving child health through evidence-based research and advocacy. With active operations across hospitals and laboratories in Bangladesh, CHRF collaborates with global institutions including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, WHO, Johns Hopkins University, and others.

Educational Requirements:

BSc in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 4–5 years of practical experience in IT infrastructure, network, and system management.

Additional Requirements:

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.

Proficiency in multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally across all levels.

Cybersecurity knowledge or certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+) will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure laptops, desktops, servers, printers, and scanners.

Set up and maintain operating systems and software applications.

Troubleshoot network connectivity and configuration issues.

Manage CCTV systems and ensure the integrity of surveillance operations.

Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking components (LAN, WLAN, VLAN, NAT).

Monitor and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards.

Support incident response processes including root cause analysis and resolution.

Assist with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and internal audits.

Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for end-users.

Perform other tasks as assigned based on organizational needs.
