Asst. Engineer/Engineer - Cement Factory

Position: Civil Engineer – Cement Factory

Employment Status: Full-Time
Workplace: On-site (Sonargaon, Narayanganj)

Educational Requirements:

Diploma in Civil Engineering

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience working in a Cement Factory.

Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to perform under pressure and must be physically fit.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.

Skilled in internet browsing for professional use.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all civil construction and repair works within the factory premises.

Design and prepare detailed drawings for small RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) structures.

Draft work notes and issue work orders for civil-related tasks.

Conduct cost estimation and budget analysis for construction and repair activities.

Measure and record levels for RCC structures including clinker silos, cement silos, grinding mills, etc.

Perform routine inspections of civil structures to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.

Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors involved in civil works, tiling, painting, Thai/aluminum installations, etc.

Prepare and manage daily manpower allocation for construction and repair tasks such as:

Brick wall demolition and construction

RCC demolition and casting

Plaster repair and new plastering works

Manage construction materials such as MS Bar, broken stone, sand, RMC, tiles, bricks, etc., by coordinating with senior management.

Prepare and submit civil work reports to the management on a regular basis.

Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
