Executive/Sr. Executive - Ship Personnel Department

Position: Executive – Crewing & Manning

Employment Status: Full-Time
Workplace: On-site (Chattogram)

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (Honors) from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Experience should be in the Shipping industry or Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and recruit competent officers and crew through various manning agencies.

Contact shortlisted candidates and schedule interviews accordingly.

Manage all joining documentation and formalities in compliance with International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

Coordinate and obtain Certificate of Endorsement (COE) from respective flag administrations.

Ensure online verification of documents submitted by joining crew members.

Monitor crew sign-on/off schedules and arrange suitable relievers.

Manage crew change activities for assigned vessels on a regular basis.

Draft and prepare contractual agreements for both officers and crew.

Assist in preparing necessary paperwork for joining and maintain ship-specific files.

Maintain an up-to-date database of all onboard officers and crew, including their contract durations.

Ensure all documentation is properly filed for audit purposes and compliance with flag administration requirements.

Coordinate with regional manning agencies and manage a pool of professional seafarers.
