Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field. However, the educational requirement may be relaxed for candidates with extensive experience in kitchen or food service management.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role in any company, hospital, hotel, restaurant, or café.
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience in kitchen operations, staff coordination, and food preparation standards.
As a Kitchen Operations Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
Kitchen Management & Supervision
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations ensuring hygiene, safety, and compliance with food standards.
Lead and manage kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals in a timely manner.
Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight
Maintain inventory of raw materials, cooking supplies, and utensils.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure a timely supply of goods.
Menu Planning & Quality Control
Design standard food menus with a focus on taste, nutrition, and presentation.
Monitor food quality and consistency at every stage of preparation and service.
Compliance & Hygiene
Ensure all food is prepared in line with health and safety standards.
Regularly train staff on hygiene protocols and kitchen safety.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen layout, and menu engineering
Ability to manage costs, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
Experience in training and supervising kitchen teams
