Position: Engineer / Assistant Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation

Educational Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred industry experience: Cement Industry

Strong leadership and people management skills

Self-motivated and methodical

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Strong problem-solving skills

Practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Electrical & Instrumentation Department, the Engineer/Assistant Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Carry out day-to-day electrical maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations and minimize equipment downtime.

Promote and enforce safety awareness in the workplace following the "ZERO TOLERANCE" safety policy. Ensure all employees in the assigned area strictly follow UCIL safety guidelines.

Implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical machinery and equipment.

Conduct technical training and development for electricians and junior electricians to build team capability.

Evaluate and manage spare parts requirements for the assigned area, supporting the department head as needed.

Review and verify electrical drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Participate in electrical modifications and improvement projects for operational efficiency.

Strive to reduce repetitive maintenance issues and lower maintenance costs in the designated area.

Collaborate with the team to meet departmental goals and improve equipment availability.
