Position: Senior Manager – Construction (Civil Engineering)

Location: Uttara, Dhaka

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEngg) from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements:

15 to 20 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate sector.

Age: Between 38 to 45 years.

Key Competencies:

Strong leadership with a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.

Expertise in high-rise building construction, including basements, podiums, and infrastructure (roads, drainage, utilities).

In-depth knowledge of modern construction materials, methods, and equipment.

Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and automation-based monitoring tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor/contractor management skills.

Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience in integrated infrastructure development and green building practices is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the full cycle of civil construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure works.

Supervise the construction of multi-tower high-rise buildings and infrastructure components like roads, drainage, and utility networks.

Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Manage and coordinate large teams of engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.

Track project progress, manage budgets and timelines, and take corrective actions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project goals.

Monitor and control construction costs, ensuring financial discipline across the project.

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Regularly report project status and performance updates to senior management.

Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
