Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of practical experience in VAT & TAX operations.
Candidates with experience in trading businesses, export/import companies, or manufacturing industries (especially FMCG such as mosquito coil products) will be given preference.
26 to 32 years
Ensure proper execution, monitoring, and management of all VAT & TAX-related functions in compliance with the VAT & SD Act 2012 and the Income Tax Act 2023.
Maintain all VAT & TAX books of accounts accurately and up-to-date.
Deduct VAT & TAX at source (VDS) in accordance with current government regulations.
Liaise and communicate effectively with VAT & TAX authorities, including circle and divisional offices, inspectors, superintendents, deputy commissioners (DCs), and head offices.
Manage and prepare replies to audit objections and participate in government audits or inspections.
Prepare and submit monthly and annual VAT & TAX returns online, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain and generate VAT documents such as Mushak 9.1, Mushak 4.3, 6.3, 6.4, 6.6, and 6.10, as per VAT & SD Rules 2016.
Conduct internal audits and maintain transparency in VAT & TAX processes within the organization.
Work efficiently with NBR-approved VAT software and Microsoft Excel for documentation and calculations.
Administer appeal procedures and represent the company in hearings, tribunals, or appellate bodies when necessary.
Continuously monitor regulatory updates and ensure full compliance across all departments regarding VAT & TAX policies.
Support external auditors and internal teams with required reports, reconciliations, and documentation.
Strong knowledge of VAT & TAX laws, compliance procedures, and financial documentation
Proficiency in reporting, record-keeping, and analytical review of financial transactions
Familiarity with NBR software platforms and government online submission systems
Effective communication and coordination with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
