Educational Requirements

Minimum Graduate (preferably in Human Resource Management or a relevant field)

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in Social and Environmental Compliance within the Textile/Garments Industry

Hands-on experience in third-party audits and buyer compliance protocols

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Laws and international labor standards

Experience with sustainability practices in waste management, chemical handling, and water treatment

Familiarity with environmental certifications (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, ZDHC)

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Strategic problem-solving and analytical thinking

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills

Key Responsibilities

Ensure factory compliance with national labor and environmental laws

Conduct and assist in internal/external social audits

Monitor working conditions, wages, health & safety, and working hours

Implement and follow up on Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)

Guide factories in meeting buyer environmental policies and industry certifications

Maintain and update all relevant compliance documentation and certification records

Evaluate and onboard new suppliers by assessing compliance readiness

Provide regular compliance updates and reports to buyers

Develop and implement internal compliance policies and manuals

Organize training sessions for suppliers and internal staff on compliance requirements

Support factories in adopting best practices to maintain compliance

Ensure transparency and traceability across the supply chain

Align supply chain operations with the ethical sourcing policies of clients
