BRAC Bank is currently looking for a dynamic, driven, and experienced individual to join its General Services Division as a Fire Safety Officer. This role is crucial in ensuring that all BRAC Bank premises maintain high standards of fire safety and comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Graduation or Post-graduation from a recognized UGC-approved university
Completion of a 6-month Fire Safety Manager Certification Course from the Fire Service will be considered a significant advantage
2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in fire safety roles within reputed groups of companies, multinational corporations (MNCs), or banks
Strong interpersonal communication skills in both Bangla and English
Excellent typing and report-writing abilities in both languages
Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-oriented
Team player with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Develop and implement effective fire safety systems and protocols in accordance with BNBC-2021 guidelines
Maintain detailed MIS and prepare required reports on fire safety procedures and equipment status
Design, schedule, and deliver annual fire safety training and evacuation drills for all staff
Organize and conduct fire drills across all BRAC Bank branches and premises at least twice per year
Coordinate with suppliers for regular servicing, maintenance, and procurement of fire safety equipment and systems
Liaise with relevant government authorities regarding regulatory compliance on fire safety matters
Conduct regular fire safety risk assessments, investigations, surveys, and review safety plans
