Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a 4-year Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution approved by the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
Must hold a valid pharmacist license from the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working in a pharmacy or hospital pharmacy setting.
Maximum age: 35 years.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
In-depth knowledge of medication administration, drug interactions, and regulatory guidelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and pharmacy management software.
Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
Commitment to upholding professional ethics and patient confidentiality.
Dispense medications as per physicians' prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Generate and issue bills and receipts to patients.
Ensure timely and precise delivery of medicines to inpatient units.
Provide clear guidance to patients and healthcare staff regarding medication use, dosage, side effects, interactions, and contraindications.
Manage the dispensing of narcotic medications in compliance with legal and hospital protocols.
Maintain and monitor pharmaceutical stock, adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) for medicine rotation.
Record expiry dates and properly label medicine containers before shelving.
Receive and verify medicine deliveries against requisition lists and supplier invoices.
Perform administrative duties including answering phone calls, managing prescription entries, handling cash registers, and assisting with inventory replenishment.
Support the pharmacy team with monthly reporting, requisition preparation, and action plan development.
Ensure cleanliness and safety in the pharmacy workspace in accordance with hospital standards.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the pharmacy supervisor or hospital management.
