Material Planning Executive

Position: Material Planning Executive

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in material planning or related roles.

Prior experience in Computer Hardware/Network Companies or Supply Chain sectors is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Age: 25 to 35 years.

Strong analytical, planning, and coordination capabilities.

In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles and processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is essential for accurate material planning and tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Raw Material (RM) Planning & Forecasting:

Develop and execute effective plans to ensure timely availability of raw materials aligned with production schedules.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to forecast and plan for upcoming models and distribution needs.

2. Inventory & Sourcing Coordination:

Maintain appropriate raw material levels by applying safety stock techniques and reorder points.

Work closely with the sourcing and procurement departments to synchronize vendor delivery schedules with production timelines.

3. System Management & Risk Control:

Regularly verify product-wise BOM (Bill of Materials) and raw material data within the ERP system.

Analyze material consumption trends, identify variances, and mitigate potential risks in supply and production.

4. Cross-Department Coordination & Reporting:

Liaise with departments such as Production, Procurement, and Inventory to resolve material-related issues.

Generate and present timely, accurate reports regarding material availability, shortfalls, and associated risks to support strategic business decisions.

Skills & Expertise Required:

Expertise in Supply Chain & Distribution Management.

Advanced knowledge of material forecasting and planning tools.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
